About New File

New file Wizard integrates into Windows Explorer "File>New" menu and makes the file creation more easy and functional.

New File Wizard allows you to create the new file with 1 additional mouse click. New file naming by template, by user input, or from history list. File body copied from source. Folder copied from source with all subfolders.

Program run from MS Windows Explorer or from file manager.

What does it do?

After program install, new item appear in the Windows Explorer New menu. This item calls the New file wizard.
Wizard helps you to select the name and type for new file or folder (from templates list or from history).
New files or folder are naming like "2004_sept_14 todo.txt" or "My docs description.doc" (where 2004 sept 14 is today date, "My docs" is a name of current folder).
New file creating from selected template (for example, "new picture 800x600.BMP" or "Base calculation scheme.xls").
New folder creating from selected template (for example, "New project" folder with "Documentation", "Calculations" and "Results" subfolders, read.me files and over).

Why naming the files?

Then you have one or two text files, you can name it Doc1.txt and Doc2.txt. Otherwise, if you are using your PC for daily work, you have hundreds of files - documents, photos, notes, calculations, models etc. If you don't set the understandable names for this, you can't find the file quickly then you need it. Windows can allow to you only the Doc1-Doc2-Doc3 numeration. New File Wizard assists you to put your information in order - from the first moment of document creation.

How to install?

Execute nfsetup.exe. Program will install to selected location and adds the new item to Explorer "New" menu. If new item doesn't appear immediately, please, wait a moment.

Installing is easy and doesn't take any manual input.

File managers is software used for Windows Explorer replacement. This way preferred by computer enthusiast, who looking for more powerful file handling.
