ZIP archives

ZIP is most usual and famous format for packing files ("archiving"). Packing decreases file size and increase downloading time. Then you download ZIP file, you must unpack (uncompress) it with special software. Because ZIP format are not proprietary, you can select unpacking tool from the big list of titles. In addition, many advanced file managers have internal support for ZIP archives.

Where is no need to use the ZIP software this CD Bank, because CD Bank Cataloguer can read the ZIP archive structure and save it for previewing.

Viewing text

CD Bank creates the text preview for many file types (TXT, HTML, RTF etc.) then scanning the disk, and shows this text in the preview panel. You can assign any program for viewing this text with "View from storage command". We recommend using the standard Windows Notepad, because it is most compatible text viewer and editor.
